DREAMS
Collaborative UK art-book
To be released at May London MCM Expo, 2008

DREAMS is a collaborative UK art-book - mainly consisting of manga/manga-influenced art - put together by several friends and acquaintences. It was organised/edited by Scott Mason, co-edited by myself, and also features the work of (in alphabetical order) Samuel Barker, Sarah Burgess, Poppy Connor, Helen Ewart, Rowan H., Ellie Jayne Hewett, Karen Yumi Lusted, Vicki Paull, Luke Pierce, Natalie Roberts, David Stribling, Carmel Ward and Faye Yong. Each of us contributed between 1 and 5 images (plus an extra tutorial by Karen), with the cover images done by myself and the extra pages done between myself and Scott. We were also lucky enough to get the super-talented and rather lovely Emma Vieceli to write a foreword for us! ^_^ In total the book comes to just over 60 pages long, and the mix of styles and techniques within it is wonderful ... everyone put in a huige amount of effort, and after so many months I cannot wait to see the finished result in good solid printed form!

This was a real labour of love ... not least because, for me, our very latest, rather stretched deadline overlapped with my university degree hand-in! ^0^; (I was quite ill for a couple of weeks after both of these from the stress and lack of sleep!) This was also followed by several problems with printers (I strongly recommend against Ka-Blam Printing... after a month, they hadn't even downloaded our files to print), but it looks like it's finally set to be finished!
