Juicy
This piece was submitted into a small independant art-book which I took part in producing, named "DREAMS" - my third out of three pieces. This was my first finished piece in what felt like absolutely ages where I used all real media - alcohol markers, watercolour paints, acrylic ink and coloured pencils - and I'm quite chuffed with it! (I did cheat ever-so-slightly by scanning my inks into PhotoShop, recolouring them and printing them off for a softer effect, but I think it was worth it.) My only regret is that it looked much nicer on paper - curse my loose scanner lid in bright red bedroom, it's impossible to get a clean scan!

Whether evident or not, this piece was originally very much inspired by the song "Juicy" by Angelspit ... I was going to go for something a bit more grungy, using the band's aesthetics a little bit more, but it turned into this. I can't decide whether she looks innocent or not ... ;)
